Ok... I have a joke for ya
What Is the Easter Bunny's favorite type of music?
HIP HOP hahaha
Anddddd If you are sister missionaries trying to hold back very impatient kids from starting their egg hunt your favorite type of music is one song.... baby shark!
We got to participate and help out at an Easter egg hunt for the community! It was put on by the swan falls assisted living and it was actually the best ever. We helped serve food then each set of missionaries split into different age groups. We were in charge of 3-4 year old's and they really wanted to find their eggs. We had to improvise quick so we played some Simon says, sang baby shark, made a song out of random noises together, had a dance battle, and ended with a mega cool countdown. They were so pumped for it!
Earlier this week we had service for sister Baker with our district. 3 of us went outside and 3 of us stayed inside and taught. We were able to teach her about Heavenly Fathers plan of salvation. She has such a big desire to learn and grow. She had so many questions for us and they all perfectly lead into what we had planned to teach her.
We had another great lesson about the Plan of Salvation while I was on exchanges with sister Fransen. I was able to go back to Nampa! We taught a lady named Chris. She was struggling to know why bad things happen to good people. We started teaching her about our purpose here on earth and asked some inspired questions and you could see it just click in her head. She started teaching US about how important it is to have trials here on earth! It was such a neat experience!
One more miracle happened this week that I want to share. Picture this. 2 missionaries just walking down the street. All of a sudden 2 girls are sitting and chatting on a rock on their way home from school. We all say hi and introduce ourselves. (Her nick name is kiwi) Kiwi says, "this is so cool we just had a random feeling to stop along our way home and take a break right here and you guys show up!" She has like 4 bibles at home and she was so thrilled to be able to have a copy of the book of Mormon as well! She even told us, "oh cool the book of Mormon, so it goes hand in hand with the bible right?" Of course! It helps us understand the bible and testifies of Jesus Christ! We are so stoked to start teaching her!
Potty had a tumble this week, I'll have to start over. I was reading the back of the seed package and it said that they grow best in direct sunlight...I was kind of nervous because I planted them and covered them with dirt. So they cant see the sun at all. I put them outside so they could get more sun (they were sitting on our window ledge thing) . We had a huge rain storm and he got knocked over.....so we are back at square one. But now I know to plant them on top!

Sometimes like Potty, we have hard times and big winds trying to blow us over
and tempt us in life. As we firmly set our foundation on Christ, He will guide
us through those winds and help us endure. And that goes with our faith as
well, we planted the seed (faith) in our hearts. If Satan tempts us and knocks
us down we can loose our faith (seeds). As we follow Christ and His example we
will always stay grounded. Have a great week!
Love,
Sister Bailey :)
P.S. Transfers are happening this week so our pday is on Tuesday not Monday!
