Week 2 in Star

2 weeks in Star and I already love this place with all of my heart! Probably because this week has been a lot of service! We started off doing some service for a Less active member in one of our wards! We helped move things from his storage shed to his home to sell. We talked about the importance of going to church along the way and he ended up coming this last Sunday! We made a great connection and are planning on coming back every Tuesday to help out!

After that we decided to do some service tracting (going door to door to ask if we can serve anyone) we ended up finding a family outside working on the garden and weeding and turns out they are members in one of our wards! It was nice that we were able to get to know them better!

We also were able to help out at the local food bank in town! Sorting and organizing the food into bins! That was a blast!

Other than that this week we have just been making visits with people so we can get to know them better! We also had interviews with President Sorenson this week! We always love interviews because they bring yummy snacks lol ...and of course seeing president and sister Sorenson! But the snacks are so good Haha

Miracle of the week: From the visits we made, we were able to see 4 non members and 1 less active member attend sacrament meeting this past Sunday! They loved it and I could see the joy in there eyes that it brought them!

Miracle Pt.2: We found an envelope in our apartment with 30 dollars in it! 30!? That's a lot!!!! It was from a member of one of our wards!

Update on my plant: i think I planted too many seeds on accident...I guess Walmart has some good, quality seeds....all of them seem to be growing! I might need to pull some out....oh maybe its weeds? I'm not sure yet.... I'll have to wait a little bit longer to tell... any suggestions? I guess you can never have too many flowers right? Just like a testimony. As you continue to nurture it it will grow....even if its lots and lots of individual testimonies. I love you all!
